Director of Wellness Coaching

In addition to a lifetime of personal commitment to athletics, health & wellness, Evelyn Caron has over sixteen years of experience as a professional coach and personal trainer.  Her work spans age groups and institutional settings.  

In 2017 she completed the Health and Wellness Coach Core Course given by the WellCoaches Corporation, the standard-setter in the discipline.  Evie is now preparing to sit for national board certification as a Health & Wellness Coach with the National Board of Medical Examiners.

In 2001, Evelyn entered the coaching field as an Assistant Coach in the Brooks School field hockey program.  She subsequently has served in coaching and/or health advocacy roles with Phillips Academy, Cardigan Mountain School, Andover High School and private fitness centers in the Andover area.  Her professional development includes the WellCoaches Core Course, multiple college-level courses in physiology & anatomy and several exercise science qualifications (ACE-certified Personal Trainer, Stott-certified Pilates Instructor, Johnny-G Certified Spin Instructor, P-90X certified, Level One Kettle Bell Lifting Course).

A New England native, Mrs. Caron is a graduate of The Pike School, Governor’s Academy and Bates College.  In service to the community, Evie has been active in raising funds (over $12K) for the Alzheimer’s Association through participation in ten annual Alzheimer’s Memory Rides.  An Auxiliary Member of the Order of Malta, she has participated in the group’s international pilgrimage to Lourdes which drew participants from forty-four nations.  She also leads the organization’s volunteer efforts at The Cor Unum Meal Center in Lawrence, MA.  For fun, Evie enjoys long distance running, which has led to her national ranking.  She competed in the 2014 and 2015 Boston Marathon, during the latter of which she took second place in her age division, finishing behind a former Olympic gold medalist.
